HOW THE EXPRESS LEVEL FOR THE PROTEIN EXPRESSION? DO YOU HAVE ANY EXAMPLES?

The expression of different proteins is variable. We have tested over 500 proteins with variable length on ProteinFactory 1.0; Here are several examples: eGFP=200 μg/mL; Firefly Luciferase=343 μg/mL; Ubiquitin=600 μg/mL; Beta2 GPCR full length=250 μg/mL. The longest protein synthesized so far has 1600 amino acids. The expression level for most proteins is between 0.1-1 mg/mL for standard kit. You may find more examples in the product details.

HOW DO YOU STORE THE PROTEIN EXPRESS PRODUCTS?

The products are specifically processed as dry powder for the convenience to ship and use, with 30 days warranty for room temperature storage. Only dissolve them with appropriate volume of water according to the reaction size (usually 1 mL or 10 mL) when you are ready to express your protein. You may also store them at 4 °C, which is recommeded if your room temperature is too high (over 30 °C). For extra long-term storage, please preserve them at -80 °C freezer. Please limit the number of freeze-thaw cycles to be less than 3 times. We generally do not recommend to use any product after six-months storage at -80 °C. IPFM series is manufactured with all required components (including water), specially sealed, and should be stored between 2-30 °C for optimal performance. All products needs to be used at temperature between 20-30 °C (25 °C best).
