INTRODUCTION

Native mEos3.2 exhibits green fluorescence, but excitation with blue light photo converts it to a red fluorescent state. mEos3.2 is derived from mEos2 with I102N&Y189A&H158E mutation. mEos3.2 exhibited greater brightness in the green form and comparable brightness in the red form to those forms of mEos2. mEos3.2 show faster maturation half-time than the other EosFPs. mEos3.2 is an monomer form, which helps for long-term tracking experiments. The excitation and emission maxima of mEos3.2 green form are 507 nm and 516 nm, respectively. The excitation and emission maxima of mEos3.2 red form are 572 nm and 580 nm, respectively.
